Our dear country “Nigeria” was specially made and
presented to us (Nigerians) by God Almighty. Nigeria is obviously the
most blessed country in the world. The only country with almost all climate
conditions but favourable no matter the weather. Nigeria is blessed with
millions of natural resources, even though we lay our emphasis more on Oil
& Gas and Agriculture.
Sometimes, I reason and imagine if
Nigeria was really Nigeria or maybe it is the Canaan God promised the Israelites
as learned through the scriptures. But it is quite understandable that Nigeria
is far different from Canaan land and infact more blessed than the land of
Canaan.
If you want to be more enlightened
on the comparison between Nigeria and Canaan, please read Exodus ……. at your
leisure time. Compare how God described the land of Canaan to the resources
here in Nigeria. You will understand when I said “Nigeria is more blessed than Canaan” because everything God mentioned to convince
the Israelites about the fertility of the land are all available in Nigeria in
more abundance with many more which are not yet discovered.
BUT IT SADENS ME HOW OUR LEADERS HAS
MISMANAGED THESE GOD GIVEN TREASURES DUE TO GREEDS AND SELF DEVELOPED
WICKEDNESS.
EFFECTS
OF LEADERS GREED & WICKEDNESS TO OUR BLESSED LAND

Leaders
became very lazy to invest towards creation of more incomes for the country;
rather, they sink down their high taste of wealth and riches on the country’s
economy. Where they cannot combine public development with their selfish
wealth, they loot (steal) the country’s funds and resources to enlarge their
personal incomes rather than the country’s income. Whereby, transferring the country’s wealth to
their personal wealth. And by so doing, they grow bigger financially and leave
the country in the borrowing
mentality.

Since
this popular saying “Big man talk to big man” leads in
Nigeria, who are you to advice or influence them rightly. “It is only birds of the same feather that shares ideas together”.
Therefore, Citizens interests are no longer regarded.

Since
they already know they are not being respected for their legacies or
integrities but their money; so, they hold on to it and began supplying their
followers with Poverty in order to hold them captive in slavery and keep on
suppressing them and feeding them with lies and unfulfilled promises. This
supplied poverty is the reason why some frustrated youths accept their bloody
offers and in turn take lives during elections to get them elevated.

As
a result of the third effect stated above, violence has finally overcome our
youths since they now understand ignorantly that violence is the easiest way to
get noticed.

Consequently,
good candidates, high principled candidates, respected men and men of
integrities are no longer interested in politics as Nigerian politics is no
longer a game of choice but a game of war.

Lastly
but not in the case of finality, some regions of the country has been made to
belief that enslaving the other regions or a particular tribe or phase of the
country will make them stand on top or make them be in the control room of the
country’s affairs. However, Learned people has emerged from all sector and
areas of the country, trained and taught many things and histories of life,
which is the reason while life seems tougher this days.
These effects and more as I will
unveil them in my next article are foundation of destruction and license to
separation of the country if our new leaders continue likewise.
FURTHER MORE:
Poverty as has overcome 69% of
Nigerians was not to be recognized or even experienced in the country as all
wealth, treasures, resources etc needed to put constant food and happiness in
everyone’s home was and is currently and will continue to be available in
Nigeria. But, our wicked leaders who were entrusted the right to make good,
beneficial and favourable decisions that will better the lives of Nigerians are
then the ones looting the country’s treasures and transferring public funds to
personal funds without being questioned. Why? Because nobody wants to die or
jailed for nothing.
These attitudes of our leaders are
very unusual in other countries, especially the developed nations.
Nevertheless, some of our respected countries and world leaders also
collaborates with these leaders to privatize the country’s treasuries, thereby
using the name(s) of private company(ies), local or foreign to loot money.
It is only in Nigeria you can find
government officials who had nothing before the day of their appointment but
will be magically richer than a whole state and even the whole country after
their first 100 days in office.
Have you ever asked how much our
senators are being paid?
Do you also know that these senators
make million times that salary in a month?
Have you asked anyone why Nigeria
can’t be proud of 24hours light?
Is it that we don’t have what it
takes?
