HUNGER HITTING CITIZENS TO DEATH IN NIGERIA

The worsening economic situation of Nigeria, has led to serious starvation in the country. It is very unfortunate how our current and past leaders always centered their interests on self rather than innovating workable solution(s) that will benefit all citizens.
Today, the 30th day of August, 2016, at about 1:35pm. A man was found dead in one of the major roads in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. It was gathered that the man has been loitering around and begging for food.
Eye witnesses confessed that the man was seen very weak and pale this morning before he was later found dead.

The poor man’s identity is yet to be known as he was denied food when he needed it most. “It is really a hard time to be a Nigerian”.

It saddens me that our leaders see these poor Nigerians die every day in the streets, but is unable to proffer solutions to this economic disorder the country is facing. It is very sad that most Nigerians are now unable to have three square meal per day. Finally, I think this should serve as a clarion call to our leaders, to use at least 10% of our economic benefits to help these poor citizens rather than embezzling everything into their personal pockets.
