Eye
witness has it that mother of four children, whose identity is yet to be
verified by the police, allegedly gave overdose sleeping tablets to children
which resulted to their early death.
This
incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday,
September 10th at St. Johns Area, Port Harcourt, Rivers State of
Nigeria. It was gathered that the said
woman ignorantly gave overdose sleeping tablets to her four children who she claimed
had been hungry and disturbing her for food, and after several efforts to calm
the children down since there was no food to offer to them.
According
to a reliable source, the woman offered them the tablets which she believed
will induce sleep on the disturbing children while she goes about looking for
food for her crying children. Unfortunately, she returned to the house, saw her
supposed sleeping children DEAD.
Thereafter,
Neighbors came over and tried everything possible to revive the children but it
all proved abortive. This is a very sad story and should serve as a warning to our
parents to always take the right decision before implementing one.
Finally,
citizens should learn to share among themselves during this Economic Recession to avoid more similar deaths.
